Group HR Director and Board Member of Arriva PLC and experience also includes roles as Vice President Human Resources for Cadbury Schweppes European, African, Indian and Middle East Divisions, MD of Schweppes Beverages Austrian operations and GM Blue Bell Ireland. Formerly a member of the Human Resources faculty of Management Centre Europe Brussels and an affiliate of Agility Consulting Inc USA., a NED at the Bristol based Loop communication Agency, Chairman of the Garnett Foundation. Since 2012 appointed NED at Yeovil Hospital Foundation Trust chairing of their Workforce Committee and sitting on their Financial Resilience Committee.Mentored and coached senior managers and clients who are both sector and geographically diverse. Developed a coaching model which aligns career development, work relationships and personal lifestyle into a performance framework. As Vice Chairman of the Somerset Community Foundation, led a High School mentoring/volunteering programme involving 120 mentors and Year 7 students branded as “Raising Aspirations”. This programme has now rolled out to 3 state schools in Somerset.Now with Robert Aldrich launching a new executive outplacement/coaching model.
