The next Chartered Director CPD Workshop on Thursday 17 September: EQ or IQ - which delivers good governance in the Board Room?
Time: 15:45 - 20:00
Sharon will share with the group some of the challenges boards are facing today in the light of delivering leadership, the appropriate tone from the top, challenging the executive and holding management to account while remaining focused on the strategy set for the organisation. The session will be interactive based on a topic that covers a typical board room challenge for the delegates to debate and share in the plenary session with the group. Under Chatham House Rule, Sharon will share some of the solutions that she has shared with Chairmen to improve their effective leadership and governance in board rooms today ranging from financial services, family businesses, housing trusts and FTSE companies.
The objective of the evening will be to empower delegates with some solutions to the typical challenges they are likely to face as executives, NEDs or Chairmen.
